My 10+ year old lawn mower bit the dust last month. Been a dry month, so my grass hasn't grown much, so I was in no rush.
Been doing some research and found battery electrics were generally about $300 for 40 watt mowers. But since its late in the season, I decided to check for specials.
I found a Craftsman (Black & Decker) 60V 21 in mower for $279!! 7.5 amp/hour battery and charger included. I charged the battery for about 40 minutes and got to cutting. My yard was mostly dry weeds, and I got the front yard about 3/4 done as it got too dark to see well.
It's like this one, but NOT self propelled. Steel deck and bag frame. Not available online, so if you're in the market, take a trip to the Bricks & Mortar!
