I’m in the same boat as RAMd@d and jdc.
I price shop all around. Whomever has the lowest price gets my money. Except Walmart, they are a last resort. I have been a member at Costco since 2003 wife has been a member of SamsClub since 2006. Costco membership pays for itself and Samsclubs membership fees with its cash back. I try to avoid Walmart, a million checkout lanes and only two checkers with a million people in line (no thanks).
FWIW- Amazon is like a strip mall with a bunch of vendors. The vendors send their crap to Amazon to sell, Amazon gets a cut and the vendors sell their stuffs (shipped by Amazon prime). Win win. Amazon doesn’t own everything they sell, but they do get a cut of sales. So....... boycotting Amazon also means you are boycotting a lot of vendors.
A recent example: I recently had to order a ABS speed sensor for my car. (No speed sensor, no ABS) Not stocked locally. $47 and change from local box automotive shops. $27 and change on Amazon. Prime shipping saved the day again.
