Amazon..Im not using them any more..Been reading

It's been about 17 years since I put Walmart* in the category of "Retailer of Last Resort." I started documenting their evils and got up to about 28 items. Most of the retailers on jdc's list have issues of some sort but Walmart* was clearly (at least to me) the worst of any major retailer in just about every category. They have gotten slightly better in the last 5 years. I don't know if they changed because someone in the company actually got a conscience or they did it only to improve the PR.

Amazon really flubbed one of my deliveries orders (it never left the shipping dock) and I haven't used them since. I would have expected them to just re-send everything as soon as I got up two levels in customer service, but there was something odd about it and after a couple of days they said I had to place a new order. The delay meant it couldn't arrive before I started my after holiday travels so I bought everything really vital locally and punted them.
