Gene, I asked Dr Janie (my wife, now retired) about your complaint of being tired. She says that there are a multitude of possible causes (anemia is a just one), and you should get worked up by your internist. Some kidney specialists will follow the whole patient, but others will concentrate just on the dialysis numbers and not pay attention to other factors. Hence her recommendation to see an internist who will do a general workup for fatigue.
