Um... these flacks make WAY more money out of office than IN office. Pretty much every deal they make will enrich them once they get out of office. Not running for election makes him more dangerous. Despite the incredible lack of transparency in election fundraising laws (thanks, Citizen's United), there is even less transparency in politics when election funds are not in question.
