Years ago, in the early 2000s I volunteered at a nonprofit computer recycler. It's "good business" for companies to write off old gear this way. I was one of two Mac guys and eventually became the only Mac guy there.
It was a great, condensed introduction to a few 80s and mostly 90s Macs and clones. One Saturday the place was shutting down without notice. I just happened to show up ... The boss was basically incoherent that day; it was a project he'd been involved with since his teens almost 10 years prior. When I'd asked him 2-3 times what was going to happen to all the gear he said he didn't know, only that everything had to be removed that weekend.
I drove home and came back in our minivan. I shoved all the "special" ones in, the NeXT Cubes, the G3's, the rare stuff, the better monitors etc. My basement turned into a Mac museum/workshop for several years, although most of it got recycled.

I'll have to keep an eye on the For Sale & Free Items more often. Dan I don't remember ever seeing you list anything there. But no, I don't plan on PMing you because of this thread here.
