I agree in respect of mood. It's hard to read a mood or determine its cause.

As for the use of a non-dominant hand. I expect that it's a rare person who would even think to use their non-dominant hand to hold a weapon. And in practice, reaching with the "wrong" hand seems to be asking for trouble -- maybe a miss.

I'm very good with both hands for most purposes -- nearly ambidextrous -- yet I can barely hold my aim with my arm propped if I use my non-dominant hand to hold something heavy. It just tends to tilt away.
