$300 for a Nintendo Switch?

Not sure I'd do the Lite. IMO one of the best features of the full setup is the ability to play on either the big screen or on the handheld piece so that the TV isn't monopolized.

Ditto this. My son's come to the living room (65" TV) and hooked up quickly via HDMI (again: Nintendo broke paradigm and went with a standard connector) and played a few rounds of Smash Bros. on it to show me a few new characters. He docks it up in his room (to his regular TV) for gaming & charging. And if he's got it downstairs or in the car, it's an easy charging hookup via USB-C. And if it moved regularly between the two, I'd pick up an extra Dock for it.

It really is a good & well thought-out system. Yes! My son and his friends played on the 100” gaming projector screen.
