i’m driving down to houston friday for a concert saturday. the producer and i talked this morning. she’ll decide in the next 24 hours if we need to cancel. she was away on a cruise until last night and wasn’t even aware the storm existed. i caught a stray about Imelda late last night. hasn’t had much traction in the news cycle.

I think you should be fine on Friday depending on where you're driving down from

I believe the worst of it will be heading to the north of Houston on Thursday

I live on the west side of town and though we've gotten some rain, it hasn't been very bad, at least not yet...supposedly we may get more rain/flash flooding starting this afternoon

The area that has gotten slammed so far is the coast, east/southeast Houston and surrounding areas

Thanks for checking in on us!
