1Password v6 extension is no more with Safari v13
#3
Yeah, only 1PW7 works with the latest Safari, and I can't run 7 on any of my Macs at home.

But...

If you use 1Pasword Mini, you can pull up a saved "Login" and click the anchor button to float it, then copy the username and password from there into the appropriate fields in Safari.

My primary browser is Firefox, so this isn't a big PITA for me. I only hit Safari when something won't load in Firefox.

...

...If you have all of your passwords saved only in an iCloud keychain, you're begging for trouble. It's a bad kludge that gets worse with every iteration. The contents of an iCloud keychain can easily get wiped. If you clone or migrate your data to another Mac, your device's UID will change and there's a very good chance that the keychain won't sync properly so will be lost/inaccessible on that device. (Not sure why, but some Safari logins seem to be retained and continue to sync. Not all, and not much else.) The reason why you need to re-enter all of your passwords in the Internet Accounts panel after a migration is that the keychain items are stored in the iCloud (Local Items) keychain and become inaccessible post-migration. If you can't bring yourself to invest in a legit password-manager, at least make copies of your important passwords in an encrypted note somewhere safe.
