When you first open the app, it tells you that the updates have been moved and you will now find them by tapping on the person-icon on the upper-right.
Ah, another change for change's sake -- perfect.
Sounds just like the App Store on my Mojave Mac. Terribly design. They want you to turn on auto updates.
