Super nice! I'm envious. I'm not sure I'd want those Weber DCOEs though since they are a bear to get set up right and they can have some unfortunate acceleration characteristics. They are better suited for mostly WOT (wide open throttle) operation on race tracks than they are for driving around on the street. That's OK though...see how well they work for you and if not you can replace them with some stock Strombergs (I think...otherwise it's SUs) for much less than the Webers are worth.
Also, I'd be hesitant about going with electronic ignition. Some of them are pretty unreliable and a lot of Triumph/MG owners say to stick with regular point ignition for better reliability and performance. Also, some may be incompatible with your tachometer. Don't take the word of your local mechanic either..I've found that many of them, even those who specialize in British cars, don't really know the pros and cons of aftermarket parts. I strongly recommend that you call Jeff at http://advanceddistributors.com/wordpress1/ and ask his advice before wasting your money on a poorly functioning aftermarket distributor.
Your best friend will become one of the British car forums where you will find out the pros and cons of any mods that you are considering. Oh, by the way, those prominent black overriders on 1974 BL cars are nicknamed "Sabrinas" in honor of a famous British actress. I'm not sure exactly why :eek2:
