Going to build up a target pistol, and hopefully acquire the last parts for one I'm building for my partner.
Most target pistols have contoured grips to force a repeatable grip, and I'm a righty, but she is a lefty. So she gets her very own.
I say this as I used to shoot bullseye. I was never that good, and my equipment was always better than me. I have mine, and my husband has his, and the two sets shall never (or very rarely) ever cross. I'm 5'3" and he's around 6', so hand size, grip and sighting is quite different between the two of us. His set-up is for the most part too big for me to get a firm and confident grip on, and he complains that mine is too small. :wiggle:
As far as this weekend, I'm going to see my mom (she's 82 and frail) to check on her and get what she may need. I only go out when I need to, and it needs to be a REAL need and not a "I just want to get out of the house" kinda need. She lives in the same town as me, and with the university nearby, you could say that we're in a "hot zone". UT Austin has not that much over on OU Norman as you could say WITHOUT sarcasm that idiots abound in both places. As things ramp up, I'm getting more paranoid that I'll give Mom the virus.
And before the UT Austin/OU Norman crowd gets going, the hubster graduated UT Austin and I graduated (you guessed it!) OU Norman. Not that either one of us are idiots, but you know....
