Easy way to use bandana as face mask

What about along the sides of the nose? Every dust musk I've worn over the years has a metal bar to pinch and close it up around the nose.

BTW: I see lots of people on TV that do not pinch the nose bar on their mask, saw it during 9/11 in NY also. We had to go through a training and fitting session when I worked as a Machinist on the railroad, gotta a beard might as well forget it, no mask or respirator is going to seal. Many won't even seal with heavy stubble.
