I was thinking the same but two things are driving TSLA right now - There is a very good chance that it will be joining the S&P500. When/If that happens, Tesla will be on the purchase list of many funds that otherwise have not been purchasing it. That is likely to push it higher. The second thing is the pending battery Day on Sept. 22nd. That has generated speculation of a major advancement.
I believe we are seeing the combination of speculation of both things occurring. I'm letting my 20 shares ride for the time being, but keeping a close eye on it.
