Henry Olsen is an intelligent, thoughtful conservative writer with a law degree from the Univ. of Chicago. I just glanced through his past 8-9 columns in the Post (and yes, this list was published by the Washington Post, his employer) and they are reasonable to the point of being dull by pundit standards.
He is well-regarded by colleagues across the political spectrum.
I'm sure he's written many things I don't like...he's on the other side, after all, but for some reason the nation's top political newspaper employs him as a political columnist. I guess they see something in his writing. He's been quite good with his election predictions in the past.
