I can't recommend a cordless screwdriver.
Cordless screwdrivers are great for sitting in a drawer doing nothing. If you actually try to put them to use, they don't tend to last long. The batteries die young from the heat or the motors burn out or the cases crack.
A portable drill with a long bit-extender or flexible drill bit will get you into the same places as a thin cordless screwdriver with more torque and a longer lifespan and more jobs that it can do.
Plus, you should drill starter holes for 8 of 10 jobs you're likely to use a power screwdriver for. A drill is handy for that.
My advice is to stop by your local Lowes or Home Depot to try out a Ryobi 18v cordless drill driver to see if you feel that you can handle the weight and shape of it. (They should have most of the Ryobi stuff on a display-table.) If you're comfortable with the weight, go for the Ryobi drill driver along with a magnetic extender and a flexible bit-extender. (Note that this is a pro tool and the battery may come separately if you don't buy a kit. They do that. It's stupid.)
