Control of women
#1
In Missouri it might be against the law to cross the state line for an abortion.

"An unusual new provision, introduced by state Rep. Mary Elizabeth Coleman ®, would allow private citizens to sue anyone who helps a Missouri resident obtain an abortion out of state, using the novel legal strategy behind the restrictive law in Texas that since September has banned abortions in that state after six weeks of pregnancy.

In Michigan, one candidate said ... and I quote: “I tell my daughters, ‘Well, if rape is inevitable, you should just lie back and enjoy it.’

These people are truly repulsive, sure. But set aside any outrage for a minute. And so I have to ask my conservative friends, whatever your hot-button issue may be is it truly worth it to vote against the next Democrat?

My feeling is that Democrats could be unilaterally elected from now until who-knows-when, and America as a whole would not be "liberal" in any reliable way. And so I continue to not understand the risk there, sorry.
