Group calls for boycott of Home Depot over Georgia's new voting law because they have not commented on it

kj you have a curious definition of "force," I'll grant you that.

Now just imagine if the "whole world" was intolerant to your desire to patronize an establishment, and yet you were still able to shop there? Got ahead, imagine it.

Then what? "I shopped there, but everyone made me feel bad for doing so."

Is that the central concern here? Of "being told" what to supposedly do? Really?

I don't understand what you're saying, so I guess it's not. I have a lot of problems with it, but in this case, I am saying people are trying to force Home Depot to at least behave in a way they like by causing the company "financial pain" if they don't. That's not inconsistent with the idea of using "force". It's definitely not consistent with the whole liberal idea of persuasion, which I am partial to for a lot of reasons.

I'm going to continue to shop at Home Depot because I don't care what they didn't say. I can't think of a single company I've bought things from that put out a statement condemning the treatment of Native Americans, and you know, I'm going to keep buying what I need. Silence is complicity, so probably 99.99 percent of all companies are complicit with the poor treatment of Native Americans because I haven't seen their statements. It's all ridiculous.
