Group calls for boycott of Home Depot over Georgia's new voting law because they have not commented on it

So don't go to Home Depot for what the owner has said or done, but require them to say all the right things? Ridiculous, in my opinion.

Home Depot has been a major contributor to political war chests. They even run a PAC, you can read all about it on their own website:
https://ir.homedepot.com/~/media/Files/H..._22818.pdf

If they wanted to be held above politics, then they should stay out of politics. If they are IN politics, then it's fair to judge them by what they say - or fail to say/do.

I'm not sure why this is controversial. Even Moscow Mitch settled on the idea that companies have the right to give money to politicians AND have say in politics (just so long as the $$ to go GOP candidates).
Then be pissed about that, not a statement they didn't put out.
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."

"In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends."

Go ahead, pretend that when the stakes are this high, HD's silence is irrelevant. Nonsense.

We live in a world, you are either in the game, or you are complicit.
