Does anyone use MSFT "OneDrive"?
#1
I'm continuing to troubleshoot the wife's computer (or the wife's "side" (ie account)) on our shared M1 Mac mini, which still slows to a crawwwllll from time to time.

One thing that the suspicious part of me suspects is Office (in this case, 2016). It _always_ launches on restart, even though it is not in login items in System Preferences in her account. Also, Microsoft Update seems to launch itself pretty much every day at some point (even though I've unchecked "automatically update Office programs".)

Anyway, back to my question. "OneDrive" appeared in my application folder, which MSFT helpfully explains:

OneDrive is the Microsoft cloud service that connects you to all your files. It lets you store and protect your files, share them with others, and get to them from anywhere on all your devices.

...which, y'know, sounds a lot like iCloud, which we have and use and like. I'd just delete Office entirely, but the wife is familiar with Excel, and so I keep Office around, in the cheapest (and hopefully most minimal) form possible.

Should I delete it? I found a link that says just dragging it to the trash doesn't do it - that I have to "disconnect it from my account" or some such - grr MSFT.
