Oy. I typed this out earlier, but didn't post it...
Somehow I keep track of my 10mm socket.
So I thought I could do this oil change on my own (I've been doing them for a long time, but new car.) Turns out I can't use a 19mm box end wrench on it because it's recessed. I'm glad I figured that out before I removed the 18mm bolt. For whatever reason, the kit I bought with OEM parts came with a 19mm head instead of an 18mm. So while I can get the socket on to remove the bolt and drain it, I wouldn't have been able to get the new drain plug installed. If they used standard crush washers, I'd just replace the washer. But, no.
Took me over an hour to get the belly pan off. My ramps aren't wide enough so I am trying to do it without lifting the vehicle.
