I should have sad fastener. It's a plastic one that has a center that has to be punched out. Once it's punched, the center moves into the frame. So you have to use compressed air to blow through the frame and force it out an opening on the other side. If you don't get that piece, you can't get the fastener to work right again.
“Sad Fastener” would be a cool name for a band.
