There's a trick if I want to make two batches back to back. I rinse the OUTSIDE of the bowl in cold water, especially the bottom (encased metal plate), to get it back to "room temp". Wipe dry the outside. Add about 5 extra second to cook time.
I never get the inside of the bowl wet. All seasonings are added after. (But that's me.)
