No one has ever checked or asked where I lived. Just drive-up, pop the trunk and volunteers come over to take it. If you feel uncomfortable with it, by all means, recycle/e-cycle/dispose somewhere else. I can see them denying someone driving up in a commercial vehicle with 300lbs of items.
