The problem is that MSM is NOT a 'good' business. It's actually expensive to do investigative journalism. And a few clicks online does not cover it.
Far more lucrative to make short cat videos.
And so, MSM quality can be shown to be eroding. And ANY mistake gets 1000x amplified online, etc.
Reduced MSM accuracy reporting with mistakes amplified plus folk in their bubble and far fewer reading MSMS gets us at this place in our culture.
Frankly, I doubt Musk is going to tire. I suspect he's going to double-down.
