That's a great analogy.

I personally find all sorts of cars with design languages an eye sore. The series of 'boxy' or 'box' cars including the Toyota Scion - just not a fan.

The stated design language for the Cybertruck was derived from Blade Runner. I think the matte black color looks great.

What many are missing with this external design exoskeleton is the cool underpinnings of the Cybertruck. They used structural design principles from SpaceX to build out the bed and core ( I think Honda is the only one using this approach at all), then added the outside panels (which are stainless steel). By design, it's more like a SpaceX rocket than a traditional truck made by Detroit.
