Anyone install an Ecobee 3 lite thermostat?

Several months ago, for a friend.

It is simple if your wiring is fairly standard.

My friend’s wasn’t, but it wasn’t a big deal.

I found a manual for the unit, which showed the terminal layout, and after that we were able to translate the wire colors.
