At the last minute, Speaker Johnson pulls out (impeachus-interruptus?), saying they don’t want to present their (fantasy-)case yet. Maybe next week.

They’ve already lost Romney, who has acknowledged the reality that there are no actual high crimes or misdemeanors here. A simple majority vote can end the whole farce at any time.

Especially policy disagreements that are being intentionally (and cynically) prolonged by Republicans for possible political gain.
