I do most of my art and photo work on a 2011 iMac with a Quad i7 (High Sierra) that has served me well for the last 6 years. But I now find myself in need of an upgrade in order to update the 2 pieces of software that I use the most on this Mac, Studio Artist, to v5.5/latest (minimum OS is Mojave). The other software I use all the time is the Affinity Suite. I have updated to v2 on my ipad but the computer is stuck at v1 because version 2 requires a minimum OS of Catalina (it also requires more than the measly 512MB of VRAM that this ole Mac has!).
Looking for a 27" 5K imac that has a minimum of 2GB VRAM and can run Catalina as a minimum.
RAM and HD specs are not critical.
Low cost is a priority for my on this! Would like to spend no more than $400
