Word, v63.
Since October 7th, I have worried that 15 million people in another part of the world, their actions and their suffering, will result in an exponential increase in suffering and harm globally, to human rights, to environmental causes, and to democratic governance.
Think carefully - what's more important? Yes, I'd like innocent people everywhere to never be killed by "military" (or, for that matter "police" / police) action. I'd much rather an incompetent kleptokakistocratic narcissist not be given the power to reshape the world in his petty transactional image. I think it's possible to have both - advocacy for the safety of Palestinians endangered by Israel's counteroffensive, AND rejection of a twice impeached criminal defendant candidate at home.
Don't let the "lesser of two evils" be the enemy of "the greater good."
I hear some of my Gen Z's saying things like that they won't vote for Joe because of the situation in Gaza.
To me, that's like saying that because you can't have PB&J sandwiches, you're going to burn down all the peanut butter factories.
In case there was any doubt, here's what Dump had to say regarding what he'd do differently about Ukraine:

... and I shudder to think of what he might do with Gaza. Here's what he's said so far:

I knew the moment I heard that Hamas fired missiles and attacked where this would all lead. Ultimately another reason to help Trump by people who could afford the bandwidth to put energy into something that's not near them. I don't mind them doing it, nobody likes death and destruction, but don't crap where you sleep in the process. But I "knew" they would. I know them.
