I attended an unusual memorial service yesterday

It was for a friend that I met almost 30 years ago when we lived in the same neighborhood. I used to run into him on evening walks with my wife and would often stop to visit and say hi on those walks.

I would still make occasional visits after I moved away. But sadly he passed away in January.
