I do agree that people should engage with their representatives. But do it from the perspective of being informed about their activities and their motivations. If I ask insane Rep. Buddy Carter (GA) to investigate, it's worthy as an exercise. I'm not saying don't do it.
But, people need to learn to embrace the fact that it's limited. The battlefront changed. Just because we're frustrated doesn't mean we can't be strategic. People want Pitbuls but Pitbulls have teeth and jaws that can crush bone. Our Pitbulls can only bark. They're barking.
