"In a statement following Vance’s announcement that he would be visiting Greenland on Friday, the vice president’s office said that Vance’s wife, Usha, had cancelled a scheduled appearance at a marquee dogsled race on the island this week. The organizers of the race had previously said that Usha had not been invited, but added that the event was open to the public and that she and her son “may attend as spectators.” - NYT
