Used Car Prices

First car was in high school when I turned 16 or 17. 64 Impala Coupe 283 3 speed. Put mags on it and added an 8 track. Think it was 1200 bucks or so--this was in 1968. Funny, the sales man showed me a 59 vette for even less but I told him I probably could not get insurance on it. It was in good shape too. In 1971 or so I got a used Chevelle SS 396 four speed. Rear air shocks, glass packs positive traction. Had two friends--one with a 69 Road Runner, the other with a 70 Super Bee. Ahh the age of the muscle cars when gas was 29 cents per gallon.

Both the Impala and Chevelle are worth way more that what I paid for in today's market. If I knew then what I know now.........
