I use leave-in conditioner pretty regularly. In my experience, some are better than others and expensive variations are rarely so much better that they justify the additional bucks.
I swap between these:
Aussie Hair Insurance
The Aussie works for me for general day to day. The AG Care Fast Food is a splurge, so, I use it once a week. I'm well covered between the two and they last a _long_ time if you have short hair!
Since you mentioned using dandruff shampoo, you may want to try something that goes after it:
No actual experience with the Head and SHoulders or SheaMoisture products. I may grab the SheaMoisture spray for Little M, who gets dry scalp.
