Since we are all on the "trade in" cycle and got new 15s, will need to wait until the 18 before updating -- at which point we will do the free trade in, pay tax, and walk away with new phones...
Repeat again 3 years later with the 21, then 24, then 27, 30, 33, 36, 39, 42, 45, 48, 52, 55, 58, 61, 64, 67, 71, 74, 77, 81 and iPhone 83... in 2088. At which point my youngest daughter will be 81... and hopefully AT&T will still be around.
