Of course people serving in the armed forces have varying political opinions, always have. But commanders understand their roles in our democracy. Not looking for a coup anytime soon.
Not only do they understand it, they take it VERY seriously. This fact is the basis for my statement earlier in this thread.
I'm with you on this. Few institutions on the planet are as steady as our armed forces
