Aluminum quick connect stuck to brass end of the hose

Galvanic corrosion makes it impossible to remove at this point. I need to remove it since the quick connect no longer works properly.

Is there a chemical I could use, or should I carefully cut it open?

Something like WD-40 or Liquid Wrench might free the corrosion. Also cut or break the plastic sleeve off to be able to get a grip on the aluminum part of the connector. Good Luck.
