As I said in another thread, while it's different than the old place, I don't think it's actually worse and is something I could easily get used to:

Definitely need to permanently switch to sort by creation times.

I initially thought the same, but when I think about it more, I'm fine with threads moving to the top when they're updated. I think that is how almost all other forums work, and it's just a matter of getting used to it.
