Murkowski has “considered” joining Senate Democrats

I haven't verified this information but as already suggested in this thread the Senator from Alaska already got a carve-out so that non-contiguous US States (which presumably aren't Islands because otherwise this would also cover Hawaii) will not be impacted by the medicaid cuts in the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Bill.

What I really cannot fathom is how the Senate version is making everything so much worse - aren't they supposed to moderate the base impulses of the House?! Or is it a set up so the Imperial President can disband the Senate like it's Star Wars?
