Reading Pr0nnie's posting got me thinking- how long was the longest you've gone without sleep for work, "Professinally" ?
Me: working on a military contract proposal for a battlefield radar in the early 80's. Genius VP got us into the bid with one week before it was due. I had to design all the control electronics and human interface, spec them out, document them, and do a cost analysis. I stayed up from Thursday morning at 6 Am until Monday at about 6 Am. No Doz, coffee, talking to myself, walking around. I think the security guards were convinced I was insane, and were probably fingering their .45's.
Words like "Refrigerator" and "Beer" started appearing in the proposal documents, so I staggered home and slept for about 16 hours.
So that makes it what, 94 hours, right ?
Now my body refuses to wake up if I don't get at least 7 hours of sleep each night. I tried to pull and all nighter a few months ago, and crashed after about 22 hours.
