Hi all,
I am PLEADING for help. I am finally going to part ways with my much beloved 1997 Acura Integra. The new job requires a bigger car and with the miles I am putting on (20,000/year), it is time to take the plunge. I am having trouble figuring out the "value" of my car and am hoping you can help.
Here are the specs:
1997 Acura Integra LS 2 Door Hatchback Coupe (bought new)
114,000 miles
Automatic, Front wheel drive
Cruise control, power locks, power windows, sunroof, AM/FM CD player, AC, rear spoiler, alarm, remote start
Tires are a few years old- have good tread left
New front and rear brakes
New timing belt and water pump
New thermostat, cooling sensor and air filter
Body has some door and hail dings, dents and scratches- no MAJOR damage and no rust
Floor mats are very worn but overall interior is in good shape
Car has been very well maintained (records available) and indoor heated garage kept
I think it falls somewhere between fair and good in terms of body condition according to Kelly Blue Book and it has a couple extra goodies like the alarm and remote start. Do you all think $4500 is a fair asking price? I have been told I'll get between 2500 and 3000 if I trade it in and of course, I'd like to get as much as I can for it.
Any thoughts, suggestions or useful comments? Let's hear 'em!
