Host my own SMTP server?
#1
The thread below got me thinking:
http://forums.macresource.com/read/1/297913

Can I set up my own mail server to get over the SMTP problems encountered while traveling? I looked at the PostFix Enabler site and still don't quite get it. I have e-mail address with 4 different domains, each of which I own and administer. Other people also have e-mail addresses with those domains. I also have a DotMac address. When I set up my home computer as an e-mail server, does that mean that it serves mail for everyone in each domain? Can I just use my home computer, which is always connected to my main ISP, to serve mail for my addresses only?
