Smoke from Georgia wildfires has reached Birmingham

I saw on the evening news yesterday that Atlanta was cloaked in smoke from the wildfires burning down near the Florida line. A satellite view showed the smoke. This morning I smelled smoke as soon as I left the house then saw that the air over Birmingham was thicker than usual.

It's gonna be a long, hot summer in Dixie!
