The name "Mayan Chocolate" is in reference to Mexican hot chocolate, which includes cinnamon and sugar as ingredients and is made with boiled milk instead of water.
A coffee house local to me has Mexican Mayan Mocha on the menu http://www.sworkcoffee.com/menu/page-02.htm:
Mexican Mayan Mocha
Gourmet Mexican cocoa and vanilla, espresso, steamed milk and foam with whip cream and nutmeg.
Good stuff -- highly recommended.
