Modifying involved preventing the AGP from sending signals to pins 3 and 11 on the card. I see people do this by glue, cutting the contacts, or by taping them. My personal method of choice is to cut the traces on the card above the contacts.

(I don't know which method they use, but OWC performs the same modification to their Radeon 9600s. I just wish I could get ahold of cards as cheaply as they seem to manage.
I did get a VERY good price on this card. Of course, after I got this card, another card went off the day after for almost the same price, it was listed incorrectly and didn't get any hits as it was overpriced for a 64 MB Radeon. Long story short, that card is on its way to me tomorrow for $40 shipped. Exact same card. (Well, there aren't a lot of dual dvi mac video cards. It is either a Radeon 9600 XT or a Radeon 9650, and either one is worth far more than $40.)
