Don't overlook the Morningstar Farms soy stuff- veggie meatballs, veggie chicken, pseudo-ground beef crumbles, veggie sausage.
My fiancée is a vegetarian, so by default a lot of my meat consumption has been cut back.
The veggie chicken patties/nuggets are pretty good.
The veggie corn dog nuggets are frickin' amazing, and are my snack food of choice while watching baseball games.
I also prefer the veggie sausage to the regular brown n' serve grease bombs.
The crumbles are pretty good if you use them in hamburger helper, or perhaps with taco meat seasoning. The meatballs are decent in some marinara over pasta.
I totally can not do veggie hamburgers, which at best are sad sad approximations. However, check out some of the veggie patties. Trader Joes has their own line, and the Dr. Praeger burgers are good too.
Oh yeah, and when you get the jonesies for a good hot dog, do not EVER try and substitute a tofu dog. Those things are abominations and will never touch the pinnacle that is either the Fenway Frank or the Chicago Hot Dog (minus the tomatoes...)
