Took the kids to the observatory level in the Hancock (first time I'd been there actually too). Did a bunch of window shopping... only actually had to hit the wallet in the Disney store. Fun day - my wife's nieces are from California - Chicago and the skyscrapers pretty neat to them.
And jeez - that Apple iPod speaker - what a whoop de do. $350 for that thing. We just demoed a new tower speaker setup for the iPod with remote control that was ready right before the Jobs special event - it costs less and sounds darn good to, has actual stereo separation to fill a room.
Anyway - Apple store was super busy, people on pretty much every Mac of every kind there. Neat window art too. When you drive by, looks like someone through a giant rock at it that caused a massive spider webbing - then in the 'eye' is th iPod hifi speaker setup. The art out does what's it's displaying/focused on.
