Sure, there's a way. But it would be very troublesome. You could find the stereo audio lines on the circuit board that lead to the volume control and hack in a 3.5" jack. I did it several years ago on an old boom box so that I could play my portable CD player. But in those days the circuit boards weren't nearly as crowded as today's electronics.
It would be quite a chore, and you'd probably mess up your clock radio in the process.
